Yeah... this is sort of a spoiler scene I guess, sorry.

I considered involving rose in this drawin’ somehow but I decided no, coz it’s really not about rose... it’s about pearl and steven coping with loss. Pearl says, “I’m still here”, but steven has just as much right to say it too. 

“I’m still here.”
