Yes, essentially they are the same. The Drow in WoW was most likely inspired by the Norse Dökkálfar and/or Svartálfar... But we just call them Dark Elves for simplicity sake. :lol:

Umm, DND... not WOW... I won't play games that charge monthly unless it's star wars related... and tecnically, those are night elves... I'm talking black skinned, sub-terranian, red eyed matriarchal Drow... (okay yeah, I play NWN and DND)....
