Hmmm, that one was a collaboration piece o3o I only drew and colored my character (the teal one), but...
Basically, we made the black lineart thicker and messier, and used it to shade parts of the piece. We used only white for the skin, and then our "theme" color to fill in the character's clothes. And then white shinies on top. xD That's really all there was to it... Unless you were asking about how I sketched it, not the coloring.

Lets see... I think Ty drew her character first (orange) in the center. And then Yami (purple) started sketching, and I waited until Ty was mostly done before weaseling my oc into his lap, haha! We kind of took turns so everyone's sketches didn't get too muddled, as well as using different layers so we didn't accidentally erase each other's. After that, we worked outward... Ash (green) added hers after ty's leg was done, and Ty drew the blue and brown members. So it was really starting from a center-point character and then working outward.
